How do I boot the Blackfin Processor BF537 from 16-bit flash memory?
EE-240 is an excellent reference for booting questions. It was written for BF533, BF532 and BF531 but the process also applies to the BF537 and other Blackfin parts. It shows that either an 8 or 16 bit flash can be used. Simply specify the memory type when creating a loader (.LDR) file.
