The integrated over-voltage protection (OVP) of the ADA4177 allows the inputs of the amplifier to be driven to a voltage up to 32 V above the positive supply voltage or 32 V below the negative supply voltage without damage to the device.  The ADA4177 has an operating voltage limit of 30V so, for example, when biased at ±15V, the input can safely range from +47V to -47V.
