Q.

Is it possible to reduce the gain of the ADL5602?

A.

Yes. The gain of the ADL5602 is approximately 20 dB. The gain can be reduced by adding a feedback path from th RF input to the RF output. The feedback components consist of a 100 pF capacitor in series wit ha 1 k ohm resistor. This reduces the gain to approximately 17 dB. This feedback circuit did not have any impact on OIP3. I measured 41.3 dBm OIP3 @ 900MHz. The small signal S-Parameters are shown below.
