Q:

Does VisualDSP++ include a Stand Alone Flash Programmer?

-------------------------------------

A:

VisualDSP++ 5.0 includes a Standalone Flash Programmer (SAFP) utility which provides flash programming support between the development/prototype stage and early pre-production runs. It is accessible through the VisualDSP++ Automation Interface.

While you do not need to apply a license in order to use the SAFP, a full install of the VisualDSP++ tools is required.

Further information on the Stand Alone Flash Programmer can be found in VisualDSP++ HELP at the following location:

     'Help'->'Contents'->'Emulation Tools'->'Stand-Alone Flash Programmer'.

Help is available from the VisualDSP++ Program Group or within the VisualDSP++ idde by selecting 'Help' -> 'Contents'
