Summary: the libs don't compile

Details:

I do evrything as told in the readme (i use the make menuconfig) to select the needed libraries from uclinux-dist/lib like ffmpeg and the buildscript does not seem to even enter this directory to compile it. (at least i can't find the traces of the binary output files)

Thanks

Anton

toolchain building has nothing to do with compiling of the distribution

Oh, I'm sorry. There was so much emphasis on the fact that the build chain and

the kernel are not separate, that i inclined to think that the kernel would be

build together.

BTW, When the kernel is being compiled separately there is a chance that the

kernel will be incompatible with the build-tools.

Thanks for you quick response

the emphasis is that we only validate equal versions.  you're welcome to try

mixing diff versions, but we certainly wont support it.
