I'm expecting that there are no peripheral libraries/headers or processor header files included with the toolchain. I assume these exist for VDSP though, so where are they? I can't find them for download. Or will I just have to create my own library from scratch?

 

Also, I've read many references to the blinky program. Where can I download that? All the links to it seem to lead to no where and all the example programs on the AD website seem to only exercise DSP functions.

the bfin-elf toolchain comes with the same Blackfin MMR headers as VDSP

 

as for "peripheral libraries", i dont know what you're referring to.  if you want to get code/binaries from VDSP, then you'll need to download VDSP and extract the files yourself.  we dont break out and/or redistribute VDSP on this site.

 

you can find some standalone examples in the toolchain svn:
