hi,

 

iam doing my engineering project in ip04. iam a student,so please guide me in basic manner.

 

while i trying to connect gdb with gdbproxy (because to load Uboot in serial flash) , i encoured the problem ..the error will be

that says gdbproxy is using port 2003.  it defaults to port 2000.  are you sure you dont have multiple copies of gdbproxy running simultaneously ?  you may only have one at a time.

but when I start bfin-uclinux-gdb or bfin-elf-gdb & try to Connect to the gdbproxy via:

 

(gdb) target remote :2000

 

it gives output ,

on the same time at gdbproxy gives following message,

what toolchain version are you using exactly ?  what JTAG device ?

 

if you reset the board and restart gdbproxy, does it do the same thing every time ?

iam using this tool chain and jtag cable.

 

tool chain version :  blackfin-jtag-tools-09r1.1-2.i386.tar.bz2

 

jTAG device          :   gnICE

 

yes Mike i reseted the board and restarted, the same error is occured. please help me .

This commands also used

 

./bfin-gdbproxy --debug bfin --frequency="500"

I don't see any option in the gdbproxy as --check-emuready and --wait-clocks. Which version has this options??
