hello guys,

I wish you can help me. In one post from this forum was written, that when we want install correctly blackfin toolchain, we must make it as a user moge not root. I have such packets like: blackfin-toolchain-09r1.1-2.i386.rpm, blackfin-toolchain-uclibc-full-09r1.1-2.i386.rpm. I would try to build those rpm packages as a user. Is that possible? (instead I have a problem with  bfin-uclinux-gcc: command not found; perhaps you need to fix your PATH? ). I have installed both already as a root, but command make in bash gave me such error. Please help me

if you have questions about your distro, you should ask your distro's website

if you dont know how to use rpm, then just get the tarball and unpack it in your home directory and set your PATH to that

as for not having your PATH setup, please read the documentation:

https://docs.blackfin.uclinux.org/doku.php?id=toolchain:installing#setting_the_path_environment_variable
