Please see attached simulation, which is trying to replicate a problem which I have simulating a circuit which uses a CMP401.
Current on -IN is always zero, current on +IN is around 500uA.
Am I doing something wrong? Other comparators work.

I had the same problem you saw. I even tried a CMP402 and had the same results. I think it's a model problem but you can't view it because it's in their .sub binary format.
