LTspice 26.0 Current not found for .meas OK in viewver

Thread Summary

The user encountered an issue where the .meas command failed to measure the current through a MOV (U9:A) in a circuit simulation, despite the current displaying correctly. The final answer identified this as a regression bug affecting the use of pin names in .meas expressions, which will be fixed in the next release. The workaround is to use port names instead (e.g., 'Ix(U9:1)'). The problem was further confirmed to occur when the symbol PinNames differ from those in the .lib file, even though the simulation runs correctly.

Hello,

I have a circuit that includes a MOV from the library.
I am able to display the current through the MOV (Ix(U9:A)), but I get an error when I try to measure it using a .meas expression.

Current_Meas.net(27): Current not found.
.meas TRAN I_MAX MAX Ix(U9:A)
Current_Meas.zip

The settings in Save Defaults are configured to save both device currents and subcircuit currents.

Do you have any idea what could be causing this issue?

Thank you,
Emilien
