Hello Support Team,
I am currently evaluating a design using the LTC7803. In the datasheet, the absolute maximum rating for the ITH pin is specified as –0.3 V to 2 V.
However, when I run a simulation in LTspice using the example circuit, the waveform at the ITH pin exceeds 2 V.
Is this an issue with the LTspice model, or will the actual device also exceed 2 V on the ITH pin? If so, does that imply that the datasheet specification is incorrect?
I am currently using LTspice version 24.1.4, and the change log for the LTC7803 model is as follows:
“09/27/25 LTC7803 Updated control loop parameters to improve dynamic response”
