Iq of the ADA4522 spice model, is wildly inaccurate and causing problem with DC operating point.

Hi,

I am using the ADA4522 built in model inside of LTspice. I thank you for offering everyone LTspice it is a wonderful tool and up to this point I have never really noticed too many issues with built in model. However this one I find hard not to bring it to your attention.

If the ADA4522 is simply connected into a test net with both its V+ & V- pins tied to GND and its input and output pins held at GND via some resistance, the model sources ~12mA out of its V- pin. This makes it terribly difficult for the simulator to actually find a DC operating point if the circuits using this model are in any way realistic and the power lines are not totally stiff voltage sources. In order to overcome this issue, I have been forced to use behavioural sources to clamp the V+ & V- pins before power supplies are activated, otherwise the simulation drives the pins way off from reality.

This must be a aberration caused by a modelling error, as the current is coming from the V- pin, but is not complemented on any other pins of the device. 

I have attached an example of a very simply circuit, showing this behaviour, which is using the default spice setup parameters.

    I am back to ask if you actual too a look at this. It has been and continues to be a major headache. If there was any way I code even look at your model and try and fix it myself, I would give it a try, but I cant.

    I would appreciate if you would at least confirm that you are seeing the same behaviour.
