Need help to troubleshoot the simulation.

Category: Software
Product Number: FZ2400R17HP4_B29
Software Version: LTspice

Hi,

I am trying to simulate a double pulse test in LTspice based on Fig.2 (b) from the attached reference document. I am encountering some issues with setting up the dependent current source (G element) and validating the results.

I have attached the LTspice simulation files along with the document for reference. Could anyone please guide me on:

  1. Correctly implementing the voltage-controlled current source (G) as shown in Fig.2 b.

  2. Properly validating the current and voltage waveforms in the simulation.

Your guidance and suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Thanks & Regards,

M. Israyelu.

  • Hi  ,

Your G source has no gain (transconductance) defined and nc- is left floating. I fixed this in the schematic and ran it, assuming the nc- connection should just go to the lower voltage input, and commented out the indeterminant directive (described below).

    Tthis line:

    I_C C E {min(K * max(0, V(G,E) - Vth), Imax)}

Trying to measure something, i.e. .meas, define a new param? Not sure what is going on here. A few syntax errors either way.

  • Hi

    Thanks for your response.

I am currently unable to simulate the circuit shown in Figure 2(b) of the attached document in LTspice, using the parameter values provided in the reference document. In particular, I am facing difficulty in validating the implementation of the dependent current source as described in the reference.

I kindly request you to simulate the circuit in LTspice and share the necessary details. This information will be highly helpful for my further analysis and for the hardware implementation phase.

    Thanks for your valuable support.

    Israyelu.
