LT Spice Encrypted Library BTS50010 not working

Additional information regarding my previous post.  When examining the bts50010_1TAD.lib file, the following is in the header:

* This encrypted file has been supplied by a 3rd
* party vendor that does not wish to publicize
* the technology used to implement this library.

OK, I now see the file can be encrypted but not decrypted.  Nonetheless I get this when attempting to run: 

There is an error in file "C:\Users\rick.schulte\Desktop\Infineon-BTS50010-1TAD-LTSpice-SimulationModels-v02_00-EN\Test_Setup\bts50010_1tad.lib".

Not a helpful message...

This cannot, or at least should not be true. This library is not available from the analog.com main website that I can see, nor should be, nor is it shipped with LTspice. If it is, we will correct that.

Nevertheless, we will examine it to see if we can find a specific problem with the library related to updates to LTspice (this is possible), but should be corrected by the model creator (Infineon).

Third-party models, libraries, etc. do not require decryption before use, nor will LTspice allow decryption. They can be used as is.

Will let you know if we can find something that causes the error.

I am having a similar problem with an encrypted model from OnSemi NTTFD2D8N03P1E - ran on my previous install LTspice XVII(x64) (17.0.37.0) - but now on (x64) 24.1.7 running the simulation just says "There is an error in file "modelfilename" with no further explanation.

Is there an archive of previous released versions of LTspice somewhere to roll back to?

I mis-spoke.  I received the LT Spice simulation files from the Infineon web site here...   www.infineon.com/.../

Mine now opens fine in 24.0.12 - the text for the link above is correct but the link itself is pointing to 24.1.5 - copy and paste it to use it!

We will look at the OnSemi devices, too.

Both your offending models contain trivial syntax errors that are super easy to fix. I've contacted both onsemi and Infineon and asked for corrections. I'll keep you posted.

I have raised these issues with Infineon and OnSemi, and they have fixed their models.

For the OnSemi model, you need to wait for LTspice 24.1.8 (online shortly) due to a bug in the current version.
