Help search does not work

Question

The help search feature does not work, at all. At most it offers a link to a web search which is useless. 
 Equivalently, the search in the schematic component window could use some love. For example, filter out anything that doesn't match exactly, rather than going to the first thing that is a partial hit while still showing everything. 
 Also, F1 does not bring up the help window. It can only be accessed from the menu bar drop down. 
 Additionally it would be nice for the help menu not to obsure all other windows. The would require opening up a window that is not part of Apple's help.

 It looks like MacOS now uses a Tips application to show help, looking at OS 15.1.1. As the structure of help hasn't changed, it looks like the system of displaying it has, breaking search completely. I'm afraid it is unlikely that we will update the help or search function for the version 17.x of LTspice as we look for better ways to offer LTspice 24.1 on the Mac, that do not follow the 17.x branch. 
 Agreed the search function for schematics does need work. It is odd that sometimes you just need one letter (R, C), and other times, you must type the entire string (660&micro;, Rpar). Version 24.1 for Windows is a little better.
