what is the LTspice .option directive for the choice of solver?

Question

I need to be able to set the solver to alternate for a particular simulation This is important because doing it from teh control panel affects all sims - which I do not want. 
 Looked all over the internet / LTwiki. 
 What is the spice .OPTION directive to do this in the schematic?

 I found no command via .options to change the solver from Normal to Alternate. I can however consult your question to our LTspice expert. They might have a method for it. Thanks.

Dear Laudio , 
 That is currently not possible, but such an option is in preparation for an upcoming release. Until then, you can control the solver choice via command line parameters. (See help file.)
