Syncronous Buck Converter Simulation in LtSPice

I encountered this before. What I did is to evaluate the GaN FET models from EPC in a simplified Buck converter. What I found is that there is always a current spike no matter how I increase the deadtime of the Gate drives. I concluded that the current spikes are not due to the deadtime control of the LT7891 ADI part but is ingerent in the EPC GaN FET models.

You may also continue to evaluate the LTC7891. You will find that the deadtime control feature is pretty accurate.
