Ugrade from 17.0 to 17.1

Question

I did not find LTspice 17.1 installation instructions, are they located anywhere? I want to upgrade from 17.0, for which the installation directory is C:\Program Files\LTC\, but the 17.1 default target is C:\Program Files\ADI\LTspice\
Do I first uninstall 17.0? Do I select the 17.1 installtion direcory to be the same as alreday exists for 17.0? Will any of my custom lib parts or other settings be lost?

17.1 will not find any files in the 17.0 folders, regardless of whether 17.0 is installed or not. If have you modified the files that ship with 17.0, you need to manually take them to 17.1.

 There is no upgrade path from 17.0 to 17.1. The latter has to be installed anew. Do not install it into the folder where 17.0 resides. You can have both versions on your system, they do not interfere with each other. You'll loose none of your libs or settings. 
 Rationale: 17.1 uses a different installer and puts its files elsewhere, which solved a lot of problems.
