Hi All
Do you expect the model for the LTM8032 to simulate the soft start waveforms as per the datasheet Fig 2?

Hi johnpritchard,
Apologies for the delay in answering your inquiry.
Is this the same scenario that you are observing?
Kindly share your circuit here too.
I tried this and am also seeing a different response.
I try to contact the experts on the LTM8032 device.

Here is my set up. I think I miss read the datasheet. When it mentioned "Choose the value
of the resistor so that it can supply at least 20μA when the RUN/SS pin reaches 2.5V", I assumed that the threshold for starting was 2.5V, despite the datasheet waveforms!
The LTspice is a highly efficient simulation tool. The LTM8032 model will not exactly match the real part, especially during start up.
So do not expect the same soft start waveform.
Thanks.
