Hi all,
I want to know if I can download the macro spice models from ADI and import them to some spice simulators (like spectre and Hspice) other than LTspice?
In other words, is the macro spice models simulator dependent?
Best,
Vic

Hello Vic.
It depends.
The models of switching regulators are only for LTspice.
Analog parts like opamps, analog switches and special analog functional ICs often have general SPICE models.
Sometimes these are older models which eventually have not all the features as the latest LTspice model if available.
You can easily check whether a general SPICE model is available or not.
Open the part's webpage. Then click on "Tools & Simulation". If you see a headline "SPICE model", then a general SPICE model is available which works with many SPICE programs.

Hi Helmut,
Thank you sooo much for your reply.
Your answer is so specific that I don't need to search anything!
