Where can I find the Filtercad software?

FilterCAD cannot be installed for widows higher than 7.

I have yesterday installed Filtercadv300 in WIN10.  It works.  I admit that I was surprised.

I have at least three sources.

1. On my older harddisks.

2. https://filtercad.software.informer.com/download/

   Be careful not to install/download the download manager. Only download filtercad.zip.

3. A web archive

 I compared the zip-files and they were 100% identical.

Installation on WIN10

Make sure that there is no folder FilterCAD in C:\Program Files (x86)\LTC
(I had the experience that I couldn't install it, when this folder FilterCAD already existed.)

Copy the zip-file to c:\Temp\filtercad

Unzip FilterCAD.zip with 7z with "unzip here".
You will get the file "FilterCADv300.exe".

Unzip "FilterCADv300.exe" with 7z with "unzip here".
Now you have a folder "Open a folder to INSTALL FCAD".
Run setup.exe in this folder.

I had installed in the default programs path.
The program has been installed then automatically in C:\Program Files (x86)\LTC\FilterCAD

I have found this thread and the FilterCAD.zip on the 'waybackmachine' .  An attempt was made following Helmuts process above. Windows 10 attempts the install but after a few seconds the wait icon stops spinning and the Tab on the Task bar disappears. I am wondering if an edit of one of the .ins or ,ini files would be beneficial. I have Notepad++ which might facilitate such editting. Would like to use the 1068 for OCTAVE or half octave filters if it can be configured as such. There doesn't seem to be an example file that could be a template. Any help appreciated. AS a fall back I might have a WIN 7 machine somewhere that might be serviceable. Thanks. 4/09/2022.

Open this folder to RUN FCAD from the CD-ROM.zip
