Can someone confirm the Series Resistance of this part?
LTspice ferrite bead Wurth 74279221601
LTspice has it at 50 (I presume ohms)
whereas the datasheet has it at 50milliOhms
There is typical impedance curve in the datasheet. It shows Z=10Ohm at 1MHz and this impedance is mostly due to its inductance. Thus the Rser=50Ohm is wrong. It shoud be 50mOhm. Maybe somebody from ADI can report this to Wuerth.
There are 4 beads wrong! Their Rser should be mOhm instead of Ohm.
I had reported this mistake with "Rser " to Mike(ADI) and Wuerth yesterday.
I got this eveing an email from Jochen Baier from Wuerth that he has sent an updated file "standard.bead" to Mike (LTspice@analog.com).
I hope Mike or somebody else will soon update LTspiceXVII with this corrected file.
That's good news
I personally got the new bead-file from Wuerth for a check. Your reported beads have been changed, but I found a new part with a wrong series resistance. Thus it may take a few more days until it will be in a released version of LTspiceXVII. You could simply manually change the series resistance in the 3 parts mentioned before either in the schematic or in the beads-library. I am not an employee of Analog Devices or Wuerth. Thus I don't know the date of the update.
