do I understand correctly that the light modulation for AD-96TOF1-EBZ is not sinusoidal, but TTL type?
Also, if the pulse width is 11 ns, modulation frequency is > 200 MHz. I assume that laser diode drivers are fast enough to support it. Can frequency be changed to increase the unambiguous sensing range?
The light modulation is TTL type. The system outputs trains of pulses, each pulse being 22ns wide. The frequency cannot be increased.

I have seen among the answers that using green light instead of IR is possible. In another answer I read that the sensitivity of the sensor is a proprietary information and is not available. Which answer should I trust? Which sensor is being used?

I wonder if the driver ADP3624 has rise/fall time comparable with the pulse width: the specs put these times between 10 and 25 ns. Is it not affecting the modulation?
There is a small degree of distortion introduced by the driver, reducing the sharpness of the edges, but it does not represent an issue at all.
