Checking for Reference Clock AD9959-EVAL

Category: Datasheet/Specs
Product Number: AD9959

I'm using a Python API to control my AD9959 Evaluation board through the onboard USB port. One function I've been unable to figure out is checking whether or not a reference clock is present. I can see that this is possible since the Analog Devices Evaluation Software shows a pop-up at initialization if there is no reference clock. Where can I read the REFCLK or PLL locking status, and if this isn't available through the registers described in the data sheet, what commands could I use to find it?

Thanks for any suggestions!
