Is it possible to replace AD9952 for AD9951?

Question

Hi, 
 Let me ask you a basic question as below. 
 I suppose the difference between AD9951 and AD9952 is "comparator" only. 
 As this reason, it seems to be possilbe to replace AD9952 for AD9951. 
 Is my idea correct?

 You're right. The only difference between AD9952 and AD9951 is the comparator. And yes, it is possible to replace AD9952 for AD9951.

Hi Takumi-san, 
 The main purpose of AD9952 having a on-chip comparator is to support clocking applications that require high slew to help reduce phase noise and jitter. One way to not use them is by setting the comparator power-down bit CFR1[6]=1, the comparator will be turned off to save on power consumption.
