Voltage or Current in the AD5930's Iout pin??

Hi,

I need to design a current source from AD5930's output...

I read some papers related with my project and i saw for example,

AD9850's Iout pin conected directly with a converter V/I (MAX535) that is a Transconductance Amplifier

but the AD5930 has too an input called Iout....

My question is..... The ad5930's Iout pin is a voltage or a current point??? or is AD5930's Iout pin equal than AD9850's Iout pin??

Regards

  • Hi!

    Current Output.Unambiguous.

    Same as AD9850.

"This is a high impedance current source output. A load resistor of nominally 200 Ω should be connected between IOUT and AGND. A 20 pF capacitor to AGND is also recommended to act as a low-pass filter and to reduce clock feedthrough. In conjuction with IOUTB, a differential signal is available."

m/s MAX535 had resistance , will current transform as voltage.
