Configuring AD6623 for GMSK modulation?

Hi, 
 We are developing a test system for GSM "like" communication systems, using an AD6623 for modulation and up-conversion and an AD9957 for up-conversion and DA conversion. 
 Unfortunately we have some problems with the configuration of the AD6623 for GMSK modulation. 
 According to the datasheet it can do MSK and GMSK modulation via programmable lookup tables, but how this is achieved is not described. 
 Does anyone have experience with the AD6623? Prefferably with using it for MSK or GMSK modulation.
