Multiple AD5933 on one I2C bus

AD5933:  Impedance Converter Network Analyzer

In our system I need three AD5933 isolated from each other (with 3 x ADUM1250 + 3x ADUM5000) on one I2C bus.

How can i programm different serial bus address for each AD5933

(beacuse default bus address is 0x0D. page 27 AD5933 datasheet)

  • LiamR can confirm this, but I don't think you can change the I2C address with the AD5933.  The only solution I can think of is to multiplex the I2C lines.  If you need to save on the number of pins from your microcontroller you could use a multiplexer with an I2C interface for controlling it's switches like our ADG728/ADG729.
