Hi all,
I purchased the AD9911 eval board and down loaded the software version 0.0.6 and installed it. Nothing is working both on XP M on windows 7 and a actual windows XP. The driver is not recognized so any help would be appreciated. I called ADI tech support and they don't seem to know what to do either. Thank you in advance.

Hi Chi Pham,
Kindly try to reflash the EEPROM of the board.
Just install the EEPROM programmer and follow the instructions on this link.
Best regards,
Mark
Hi MCEE,
I've done that as well and still it doesn't work. I finally got the USB to install but for whatever reason the software doesn't see it. Any other ideas would be appreciated.
Regards
Chi
I also like to give some idea of what I get so far.
The LED (CR2, USB status) is blinking so it appears the USB is present. I do see it on the XP VM.
However, when I tried to mount it. This what I got. I did try with a couple other ports but got the same response.
Hi Chi,
Kindly try to update the driver for the board.
Just follow these steps:
a. Open Device Manager and locate the driver that was installed for the board. Right click the device driver and select “Update Driver Software…”
b. Select “Browse my computer for driver software”
c. Select “Let me pick from the list of device drivers on my computer” and click Next.
d. Select “Show All Devices” and click Next.
e. Select “Have Disk”
f. Browse to the folder “C:\Program Files\Analog Devices\USB Drivers\LRF\”
g. Locate and Open the file “ADI_CYUSB_LRF_x64.inf” on 64-bit Windows or “ADI_CYUSB_LRF_x32.inf” on 32-bit Windows
h. Select “ADI Development Board” from the list of drivers then click Next.
i. Click “Yes” to the “Update Driver Warning” dialog that appears.
Hi Mark,
Thanks for a detail response. I followed it step by step and it still doesn't work. Any other thoughts on this?

Hi,
May I know the hardware IDs of the board, both VID and PID. This can be accessed on your computer's device manager.
As I recall, I tried using this evaluation board with Windows 7 32-bit. I haven't tried using it with Windows XP mode though.
