Does the AD9837 eval board have a memory to recall the settings? Will it remember to output the frequency on power cycle? If not, can anyone suggest an alternative chip?

Also, what is the output power level of this DDS in KHz frequency range?

The AD9837 will lose the data stored in the registers after power cycle. Unfortunately, we do not have any DDS that can retain its settings after power down because the memory used for them are volatile. But the AD9837 offers a sleep function wherein sections of the part that are not being used can be powered down to minimize power consumption. The output power level of the AD9837 in the kHz frequency range is around 0dBm.

    Best regards,
