AD9910 OSK

Good afternoon. I have some difficulties with programming the AD9910 in OSK mode. Could you tell me what I'm doing wrong.
Here is the Register Map
Addr value
0x00 0x300
0x01 0xC00820
0x02 0x1D3F4128
0x03 0x7F
0x07 0x1999999A
0x09 0x4E2FFFD
0x0Е 0x08B5000000000000

That is, I want to run the OSK in AUTO mode. At the output, I should have a carrier with a frequency of 100 MHz and a varying amplitude. But nothing happens. If I disable the OSK bit enable, then nothing happens either. When i wrote value frequency in SingleTone register (0x0E), a signal appears.
Please tell me what I'm doing wrong.

  • Hi,

    Using the evaluation software:

    1. Enable OSK

    2. Set the desired amplitude scale factor (this will determine the maximum amplitude that your signal will have)

    3. Enable Auto OSK

    4. Set the desired amplitude ramp rate and amplitude step adjust (the amplitude ramp rate determines the rate in which the amplitude of your signal adjusts depending on the amplitude step adjust)

    5. Control Auto OSK using the OSK pin (this will ramp up or down the amplitude of your signal)

Note that both Manual and Auto OSK is controlled by the OSK pin. For Manual OSK, the amplitude of your signal jumps from your desired amplitude scale factor to of zero and vice versa. While for Auto OSK, the amplitude of your signal ramps up or down from your desired amplitude scale factor to zero and vice versa according to the amplitude ramp rate and amplitude step adjust.

    Best regards,
