Can the MAX31855EVKIT work with an E-type thermocouple?
Yes, the MAX31855EVKIT can be used with a type-E thermocouple. To do this you will need to replace the MAX31855KASA+ with the type-E version MAX31855EASA+. You will also need to replace the thermocouple socket with one that's suitable for the E-type TC, working examples are provided on page 4 of the ev-kit datasheet.
