Question:
The minimum data hold time in MAX6696 datasheet is 300ns. However we measured 150ns data hold time in our design. Will this cause any problem?
Answer
The datasheet electrical characteristics table specifies Data Hold Time (tHD:DAT) 300ns minimum. Customer designs that use a lower value might or might not work; it is not guaranteed.
