The ADN4604 device looks like it can be configured in single ended mode. Can it
do single ended 75Ohm input and output?
Answer
The ADN4604 has internal 50-ohm termination single-ended resistors and is not
ideally suited to interface to 75-ohm transmission interfaces.
However if the application is for SDI video: SDI uses 75ohm single-ended
Coaxial Cables. In a typical application an SDI cable equalizer is used to
equalize the cable as well as convert from 75-ohm single-ended to 100 ohm
differential signalling, which is optimal for the crosspoint switch.
