The potentiometer and DC-DC regulator can be combined to design a voltage regulator circuit with programmable output. When MAX5484 is placed in the feedback branch of the DC-DC circuit, attention must be paid to the supply voltage of MAX5484 and the maximum voltage ratings of the W and L pins. If VDD is 5V, the voltages at W and L pins must not be greater than 5V.
If the DC-DC output voltage needs to be higher than 5V, it is recommended to select a digital potentiometer that can support higher VCC voltage.
