Does MAX9378 work with single-ended input? There should be no problem using MAX9378 with a single-ended input. However, one important thing to note is that the the output is indeterminate when the differential input voltage (|VID|) is less than 0.1V, per the differential input threshold specification on page 2 of the datasheet (Rev 1, 7/03). Driving IN (pin 2) as a single ended input, for example, when /IN(pin3) is biased to 1.0 V, the output is indeterminate for IN (pin 2) voltage between 0.9V and 1.1V.
