What is the benefit of using an external voltage reference source with the MAX11300?

The MAX11300 internal voltage reference has a temperature coefficient (tempco) of ±25ppm/°C. An external reference typically can be found with a lower tempo -  for example, the MAX6070 has a tempco of just ±6ppm/°C.
