Power-up Delay Time of LTC2630

Category: Datasheet/Specs
Product Number: LTC2630

I have some questions about power-up delay time from Power-Down mode at the LTC2630.

The “Power-Down Mode” section of the LTC2630 datasheet states the following:
"Normal operation resumes after executing any command that includes a DAC update, as shown in Table 1.
The DAC is powered up and its voltage output is updated.
Normal settling is delayed while the bias, reference, and amplifier circuits are re-enabled.
The power-up delay time is 18us for settling to 12-bits."

1. Is this 18us a maximum value?
2. My understanding is that the normal settling time is included in this 18us. So I have not add the ts(settling time) at ELECTRICAL CHARACTERISRTICS; is that correct?

Thanks for any help.
