Hi,
We are currently evaluating the MAX5885 evaluation board and have observed noise on the Iout P/N pin.
This noise disappears when the signal passes through a transformer, but since the actual product requires a DC signal, we cannot use a transformer.
Based on the noise shown below, we suspect that some kind of switching noise with a frequency of 26,000 Hz is being generated inside the DAC. Is this normal behavior?
[CLK Input] 120 MHz ⇒ [IOUT P/N] 4.612 kHz noise detected
[CLK Input] 125 MHz ⇒ [IOUT P/N] 4.813 kHz noise detected
[CLK Input] 130 MHz ⇒ [IOUT P/N] 5.000 kHz noise detected
