Hi, planning to use the EVM of LTC2662, can I use the EVM without the DC590 controller?
Is it possible to connect an Arduino or ESP-32 to the SPI pins and control the DAC instead of using the DC590?
Thanks

Hi aagumbae ,
Yes, you can use other SPI compatible interfaces to control the DAC.
Just keep in mind the timing specs of the DAC.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply, could you tell me the pinout of the J1 header on the board? I was able to identify the SPI related pins, which are J1.4 J1.5 J1.6 J1.7 I am not sure what the other pins are for.
Hi aagumbae
This is the J1 diagram:
You can also check the full EVM schematic on the DC2692A-A product page under Documentation and Resources.
Hope this helps.
