AD5252 Absolute maximum ratings

Thread Summary

The user inquires about the impact of a 10-100mV negative offset on the AD5252 when used in the feedback of a non-inverting OpAmp. The final answer advises adhering to the absolute maximum ratings in the datasheet to avoid damage and suggests implementing protection circuitry to ensure voltages remain within the GND to +5V range.

Hey,

I want to use the AD5252 in feedback of a non-inverting OpAmp. The Power Supply for AD5252 should between GND and +5V to use the full range. I expect just positive Voltages, but what would happen, if the OpAmp produces so 10-100mV of negative offset?

Is the absolute maximum rating for A, B and W to Vss and Vdd a hard border? So will the AD5252 break, if there will be a voltage at A, B or W below GND?

Thanks
