I am conducting all my tests on DC2903a Eval kit. Supply for the board is 5V and for the current source input is a low noise regulated 4.3V supply. The load is a very low ohmic (< 7Ohms) inductive coil with roughly 6mH inductance. I am aware that an inductor at the load causes issues with stability and for now added a large capacitor in parallel to load to reduce the swinging.

Please share your schematic for us to review.

Hi Kushalm 

For inductive loads, you need to choose smaller incremental step size while driving an inductive load. Also the slew rate of the IDAC output and the PVDD value should be kept in mind. Else, there will be inductive kick back with large steps resulting in oscillations, which you are observing in your use case.
