Question about commnads

Dear Forum 
 Im using the AD5686 as wavefor generator. I need some confirm about commands use. 
 I would like: - Load all 4 ch with 4 different data 
 -Assert the LDAC low ,so, all out are generated at same moment. 
 If I undersood good, i need to: 
 1) Senda data with command 0001,and address DAC A. This will fill the shift reg A 
 2) Same for other just change the data and address.This will fill the shift register ..address.. 
 3)Now, Setting LDAC Low, for minimimum 15ns ; will transfer data from Shift Reg x to Data Reg x (the out) at same time. 
 4)The distance beetwen 2 SPI transfer is circa 870ns; this means i can fill DAC B after >circa 870ns +15ns I filled DAC A. 
 Is this correct ?

Hi Roibert , 
 Your understanding of the process is mostly correct. The time it takes to transfer data is all about how the DAC is designed and the tech used to make it. If you want to speed up the data transfer and get the most out of the update rate for the 4 channels, you could think about updating one channel at a time in an interleaving fashion. But remember, the fastest you can go is still limited by the DAC register update rate (T9). You can drive the clock at 50MHz, but you need stick to the T9 min spec. This makes sure the data gets to the DAC registers without any hiccups.
