HI aysha ,

The control bits are already part of the 16-bit write of AD5640. If you refer to Figure 42, PD1 and PD0 should contain the control bits. There is no need for register address since there is only one register in this device.

Thank you for your answer. We understood the point. How can we configure the input shift register? Any specific address can be used to configure this input shift register? Or is there any other method to configure this register? Can you please explain.
