AD5758

Question

I am working on DAC5758 Right Now. I am using Pic32 Controller to program the DAC5758,Currently I cant even ReadBack the Basic chip id or any other register. All I can read back is only 0 values. I refered the writing and reading timing diagram of the datasheet but there is no use. When i looked at reference manual the spi crc format is different from datasheet. Which spi frame should i consider the datasheet or reference manual in the site. Need help here.

Hi, 
 The AD5758 datasheet contains all the details on how the AD5758 registers can be written to or read from. 
 Page 12-13 give the SPI timing diagrams. 
 Page 38 gives the CRC details. 
 Page 46 shows the SPI write command frame. 
 Page 47-49 shows different SPI read modes and the SPI read command frames. 
 Page 50-51 gives the initialization and programming procedures. 
 We also provide AD5758 no-os driver example in C, which can be used as a reference to your code.

 You mentioned the reference manual shows a different CRC format than the datasheet. Could you please send me a link to the reference manual? We would look into the document if there is a discrepancy between the two documents.
