Does AD9833 need an amplification circuit?

Hi- Everybody 
 I design semiconductor test equipment. 
 Therefore, a square wave signal from 0V to 5V must be input to the test chip. 
 As shown below,

So, do we have to put an amplifying circuit on this chip separately? 
 Because I saw the following article on the Internet: 
 " Square wave is reasonably clean/usable up to about 1Mhz. SIN wave is nice and clean up to the max frequency of 12.5Mhz, but the amplitude drops significantly above 1Mhz. This could probably be improved with an opamp with higher gain."

The AD5441 is not a waveform generator. It is a multiplying DAC that can be used to scale the output of AD9833.

Yes, an amplifier is recommended because the driving capability of the digital output is limited. 
 Note that the square wave uses the most significant bit of the sinewave sent to the DAC, and therefore it is subject to high granularity at high frequency. 
 A multiplying DAC such as AD5451 may be used to scale the VOUT signal using a digital code, but it may limit the rise time of the square wave. This DAC is current output, so it needs a TIA to convert to voltage.
