MAX25301B Regulator Pull Up voltage related query.

Thread Summary

The user is concerned about a pulsed output glitch on the POK (power good) pin of the MAX25301BATB/V+ regulator when the VCC_AUX_3.3V rail powers up before the VCC_PCF_1V8 rail. The final answer directs the user to Maxim Integrated's technical support for further assistance, as Maxim products are not supported on EngineerZone. Hi,

I m using regulator PN#MAX25301BATB/V+ for out project to get 1.1V  output voltage from 1.8V input voltage. As suggested in datasheet, I m Pulling up POK (power good) pin to VCC_AUX_3.3V voltage source.

In our project, power sequence is such that VCC_AUX_3.3 voltage rail comes up before  VCC_PCF_1V8 rail. As POK pin is connected to VCC_AUX_3V3, which will be get "high" before VCC_PCF_1V8 comes up and when VCC_PCF_1V8 input comes up, then POK goes "Low" while output voltage is stabilizing and then turns "high" after the output voltage stabilised. So we can observe an pulsed output glitch at POK pin. My concern is that, this voltage glitch can be an issue for this IC as well as other ICs connected to this regulator. Can u please suggest what to do with the POK Pulled up voltage? Can u also review the below schematics?

 Thanks and regards
