Multichannel DAC settling time

Question

1. For example, the setting time of ad5552 is 1US, which means that the time from signal entry to signal output is 1US? 
 2. Ltc2668 is 16 channels and setting time is 4.5 &micro;, which means that the signal passing time of the first channel is 4.5 &micro;? If the time for running the second channel is plus 4.5 &micro;? 
 3. I don't quite understand how to calculate the setting time of multi-channel DAC?

Hi, 
 You need to account for the digital communication (SPI) time too. ie if your clock is running at 1MHz, a single frame transaction would be ~14us + datasheet settling time spec of ie 1us, the tottal settling time is 15us dominated by the digital comm time due to slow clock. 
 It is the same case for multi channel, you include the SPI time to the datasheet spec. Please refer to the datasheet timing diagrams for a more accurate computation of the timing.)
