Hi Srivatsa,
The AD5758 can provide current as low as 0 mA and as high as 24 mA so I do not fully understand the question. What do you need the external circuit to do?

Hi,
In our system we have 0-24mA ouput and also output 0-2mA .
Output spec of our system support 0-2mA so we are thinking Full scale giving 2mA , is there a way to get it with some external circuitry .
Thanking you

Hi,
I am interested in this topic.
For example, if I change the Rset value from 13.7kohm to 137kohm, can I use 0-2mA as a full scale?
Thank you.
Hi Sayaka,
The easiest thing to do would be to use the gain feature in the DAC. Register 0x04 USER_GAIN allows the user to scale the output. For your case of 0 to 2 mA, if you selected the 0 to 20 mA range then the gain would be 2/20 * 65535 = 65535 --> 0x1999 hex. This would provide a scale factor of 1/10 on the output.

Valerie
