DAC8420 +5V operation. Outputs don't go lower than 600mV. Damaged device?

Can you share your schematic? Is there load present on the outputs?

I have no schematic. There is no load out the outputs (unconnected). Do I need a load? I have only connected the circuit on a breadboard and connected it to a DSP that sends the serial commands to the DAC. It looks fins for the higher DAC-values so It should work equally well for lower values also?

Can you send me a scope shot of one of your data writes on the serial interface? and also on the data where the output is clipped, anywhere between 600mV and 0V. (/CS, CLK, SDI, /LD)

For the moment I have only a logic analyzer. Not a 4 channel oscilloscope. But I tried the CLR pin today and when I set CLR low (With LD pin high) the DAC output only goes down to 600mV. And I also tried it with a 4.3kohm load to ground. But the output voltage still did not go lower than 600mV.

The logic analyzer should be fine. just wanted to check on the timing of your serial comms to the DAC. I can't help but notice that 600mV looks like a diode voltage. can you check your GND, VREFLO, and VSS if they're properly connected to ground. Also, is it the same if you measure using a voltmeter?
